To become a member of BranchOut UK, all registrants must be qualified tree care professionals. With a variety of qualifications available, we advise service users to ensure their qualifications align with the specific requirements of their role.

We will inform our members in your geographical area that we have received your enquiry. They will access the member area where your details are stored and lcontact you by email. Only the user's email will be shared. The user can of course, share their telephone number so they can discuss the job with the tree surgeon.

The user has the freedom to choose who to connect with for a quote and to complete the necessary work, with no obligation to accept any quotation. If they choose to accept a quotation, it creates an agreement between the user and the tree surgeon, company, or sole trader.

Response times from members can vary depending on their workload and schedule. Generally, you can expect a prompt reply. However, since many tree surgeons are busy working on-site during the day, responses are often more likely in the evening or after business hours when they return to the office. If your request is an emergency (as indicated in the drop-down menu on the request form), we aim to get you fast assistance.

Our market research shows that people prefer not to be contacted by multiple tree surgeons. Instead, they prefer to narrow down their options before having any phone conversations. Service users can choose to provide their phone number after being initially contacted via email.

Finding a tree surgeon is completely free of charge. Registering as a professional tree surgeon is also free, and we will continue to offer this at no cost until March 1, 2026. After this date, a small fee will be introduced to help cover administrative expenses. A monthly subscription fee, starting from £19.95 will start June 1, 2025. Existing members will be contacted with the option to continue using the platform. There is no obligation to stay with us. In the likely event a member leaves us, there is nothing to pay.

In the rare event the standards of work fall below the standard you expect, you must contact the company/person in the first instance. We are unable to act in any capacity to arbitrate between parties.

As more tree surgeons join our network, we will broaden our coverage across the UK. If we have no members in your area, we'll work to find one who can register and respond to your enquiry.
