Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, you (the Service User/Registrant) agree to the terms and conditions set out in this section. Please read them carefully.

​​2. About BranchOut-UK (BOU)

BranchOut-UK is the trading name of PlanB Strategy LTD and is an online marketplace integrating service users with tree surgeons across the UK. BOU does not represent, endorse, or guarantee the services of any business or sole trader (the Registrants) listed within its directory.

3. Contract Between Service User and Registrant

Any contract entered into as a result of using BOU is strictly between the Service User and the Registrant chosen by the Service User for tree surgery services. BOU is exempt from any aspect of this contract and will not be responsible for any financial loss, damage, or other consequences, however caused.

4. BOU’s Role

BOU does not participate in any contractual agreement between the Service User and the Registrant. BOU is solely an online directory providing contact details for Registrants.

5. Service User Responsibility

It is the responsibility of the Service User to ensure that the Registrant holds the relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and insurance before employing their services or beginning any work. BOU makes no guarantees about the services provided by any Registrant.

6. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes between the Service User and Registrant are the sole responsibility of the parties involved. BOU will not intervene in any capacity and is not liable for the outcome of any disputes.

7. Users of this website, must be 18 years or above.

Registration Terms

1. Qualification and Insurance

By registering as a Registrant, you confirm that you are a tree surgeon (or represent a company employing tree surgeons) and that you hold the necessary skills and insurance to conduct chargeable tree surgery activities in the United Kingdom.

2. Professional Conduct

You agree to act professionally in all communications with Service Users and other Registrants on the BOU platform. BOU reserves the right to cancel registration without refund or release from contractual obligations.

3. GDPR/Data Protection

By registering, you agree to receive communication from BOU via email, covering everything from job-related inquiries to marketing/promotional messages.

You agree not to share any Service User data with third parties. You will handle all data in accordance with the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UKGDPR).

4. Free Registration Period

Registration is free for an indefinite period. Once this free period ends, a registration fee may be introduced. However, those who registered during the free period will not be charged to maintain their registration. If a registrant chooses to unregister, the current registration terms and conditions, including any applicable fees, will apply if they register.

5. Monthly subscription

Subscription is free for an indefinite period. Once this free period ends, registrants will need to pay a subscription fee to access the full BOU platform. The fee can be paid on a monthly or annual basis. Registrants are under no obligation to continue their subscription once the free period ends.

5.1. If jobs are assigned to non-registrants or registrants within the free subscription period, a commission may be applicable based on a separate arrangement or agreement between BOU and the tree surgeon company.

8. It is the responsibility of the Registrant to ensure that all contact information provided is up-to-date. BOU will send enquiries to the email address provided at the time of registration. Any changes to this information must be verified before taking effect.

9. Enquiries- Notifcation

Once BOU receives an enquiry, it will promptly notify all Registrants within the specified geographical area. BOU is not responsible for any delays, failure to deliver, or failure to receive an enquiry, regardless of the cause.
